If you were to ask a bunch of moms, from all backgrounds and walks of life, what it is they wish they hadn’t taken for granted during their pre-mama years, chances are rest and relaxation would be one of the top responses. Now think about it: whether you’re a stay at home mom, a full time working mom, or anything in between, when was the last time you were really able to completely indulge in some time to “relax, restore and renew?”
In an effort to reach out to rest-and-relaxation-deprived moms and even help out a lucky few, Kimberly-Clark is giving away 16 prizes for $25,000 each to completely renovate and overhaul a room in a winning mother’s home. It’s very easy to enter the Room-A-Day Giveaway: either online via the official website, or via regular mail. Plus, you can enter once DAILY until March 7, 2008.
If you’re an daily watcher of The View, then you’re already well aware of this contest and the fact that from January 28, 2008 to February 15, 2008, one winner will be announced on the show every day at 11AM EST (with the exception of the 16th winner, whose win will be announced on the website only).
You’ve got absolutely nothing to lose by entering and oh-so-much to gain if you’re chosen. Who wouldn’t want to win such an amazing prize?
I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty sure that most people just don’t have $25,000 in non-loan, non-retirement, non-college-savings, non-long-term-investment funds available on hand for that renovation project they’ve always just meant to start…someday. Even if you did, it would be wonderful to maybe not have to choose between your dream family vacation and the much-needed new furniture, repairs and/or renovations for that room you’ve been meaning to have work done in.
Kimberly-Clark definitely gets it right when it comes to their awesome products (Viva® paper towels are my favorite, Huggies® are a part of my daily life and who doesn’t appreciate a box of Kleenex®?), and this contest is definitely not one to passed up.
