The My Carseat Blankie is a soft, perfectly sized travel blanket for infants and toddlers. Available in comfy flannel, warm fleece, or sumptuously soft and luxurious minky fabric, the My Carseat Blankie is perfect for moms and dads who are always on the go and take their little ones with them!
It’s had to cross your mind at least once before: isn’t it uncomfortable for my tot to be so squished into the carseat while wearing a big bulky winter coat or snowsuit? The truth is, it’s not only most likely uncomfortable for your child, but wearing a big puffy fluffy coat while being strapped into carseat actually compromises your child’s safety while riding in the car. Since carseat belts are meant and designed to fit tight and snug against your child’s body, a thick bulky coat actually keeps the straps from being positioned in that way. It’s also recommended that children be kept in regular clothes when strapped in the car seat, so that they’re positioned snugly as far into the carseat as they can, and only then are you supposed to actually cover them, either with a coat or a blanket, like My Carseat Blankie.

So, I’m just a little past 4 months pregnant (and definitely showing already booo), and mrQ and I are already squabbling over what to name #2. The baby name subject is just so completely stressful! We’ve both got that feeling that #2 is going to be a little girl, but we have two totally different, how should I say this, styles, when it comes to baby-naming.
mrQ is dead-set on the name he wants for the baby assuming she’s a she, but to be completely honest, I hate the name he’s chosen. By his logic though, since I had the final decision in what littleQ should be named, then his wishes should take precedence with #2.
I like strong names steeped with history or meaning. mrQ likes names that sound nice. I like names that don’t sound like another word that has a negative meaning. mrQ thinks if it sounds nice, who cares if it reminds me of another word, because it isn’t that word. Does that make sense?
Argh, I don’t like bringing up the baby-naming subject with him because I get so irritated (God help me with these raging mom hormones), but he’s calling #2 by his chosen name already. He can’t wait until our complete ultrasound later this month when we find out #2’s gender so he can start using the name all the time (again, assuming she’s a she). How can I possibly not get annoyed when I haven’t agreed? At this rate I might have to make sure he’s out getting me some noodles or something while I’m filling out the paperwork at the hospital in 5 months. Well, no I guess I can’t do that… I’m not that mean to the hubby.
