Earth-Friendly Toddler Shoes at Pedoodles

November 9th, 2008

Hey there! If this is your first time here, please consider subscribing to the RSS feed or the MamaDivas.com newsletter

pedoodlesEco-friendly clothing for kids are all the rage, but did you know you can get green with your child’s footwear, too?  From the boxes they come in to the soles on the bottoms, Pedoodles’ newest shoes are eco-friendly all the way.  They come in a multitude of colorfully cute styles for children from infants to preschoolers, and have always, since their opening in 2004, constructed their shoes with healthy foot development as the main objective.

The new line of completely eco friendly kids’ kicks hit the market back in June, with each environmentally friendly pair featuring Pedoodles’ own PedFlex™ recycled soles.  They’ve even redesigned their packaging, and the boxes that the eco-friendly line comes in are also made from recycled materials and are easy to reuse.  They’ve made it a point to not let any scrap of leather go to waste, so there’s less leftover material left to fill landfills.

littleQ usually wears a pair of toddler Jordans, but as soon as we received his new Blue Bumper Cars Pedoodles, I had him wear those.  At first, he didn’t make it easy for me, being that the Jordans are actually his favorite shoes.  However, I immediately noticed that he was walking, well, differently with the Pedoodles.  He obviously noticed too, because he stopped whining almost as soon as his Pedoodle-clad feet hit the ground.  His step seemed lighter, and it was as if he was able to maneuver himself more easily with the lighter, less restrictive shoes.  All the better to run around and do boy-tot things!  They’re definitely of excellent quality, and the leather used is supple, soft and strong.  While I don’t think I’d have him wear these if he’s going to be jumping around in mud puddles or sloshing around in the snow, for day to day and indoor use, Pedoodles are a great quality choice.

Anyone in the market for eco-friendly products for the family should definitely consider purchasing a pair of Pedoodles, because not only would you be helping the environment, you’d also be helping to promote the best possible development of your child’s feet with Pedoodles soft leather healthy-foot focused designs.
