Eco-friendly clothing for kids are all the rage, but did you know you can get green with your child’s footwear, too? From the boxes they come in to the soles on the bottoms, Pedoodles’ newest shoes are eco-friendly all the way. They’ve made it a point to not let any scrap of leather go to waste, so there’s less leftover material left to fill landfills.
littleQ usually wears a pair of toddler Jordans, but as soon as we received his new Blue Bumper Cars Pedoodles, I had him wear those. At first, he didn’t make it easy for me, being that the Jordans are actually his favorite shoes. However, I immediately noticed that he was walking, well, differently with the Pedoodles. He obviously noticed too, because he stopped whining almost as soon as his Pedoodle-clad feet hit the ground. His step seemed lighter, and it was as if he was able to maneuver himself more easily with the lighter, less restrictive shoes. All the better to run around and do boy-tot things! They’re definitely of excellent quality, and the leather used is supple, soft and strong. While I don’t think I’d have him wear these if he’s going to be jumping around in mud puddles or sloshing around in the snow, for day to day and indoor use, Pedoodles are a great quality choice.
