When I get pregnant again, we will have the same problem. For two years now, my husband has insisted on a certain girls name. I'm not a fan but said I might consider it if I can use a certain nickname. As soon as his mom heard the name she said it was fine as long as we didn't call her that certain nickname. My husband and I had a rule that we had to agree on the baby's name. If one didn't like the name then we had to come up with a different name. BOTH of you have to like the name. This isn't something that can be forced on one OR the other. So my suggestion would be for each of you to come up with the names that you like and hand them over. The other person crosses out the names that they absolutely don't like and from there you keep the names that you are both willing to at least give a second glance to. If your husband insists on calling the baby a name that you absolutely detest while you are pregnant then cut him off and don't have sex with him for the rest of the pregnancy.
