They work hard to so we can keep the freedoms we’re blessed with. They lay their lives on the line so that those freedoms that many of us take for granted cannot and will not be taken away. This holiday season, why not support our service members by contributing to the Sears Heroes at Home Wish Registry. You’ll be able to show your thanks by helping to fulfill the wishes of our active service members, veterans and their families.

So far, over 525,000 contributions have been made to the program. On the website you’ll be able to check out stories from military families and their hopes, dreams and wishes this Christmas. Contributions to the program will be equally divided amongst all the registered families in the form of Sears gift cards, but you will be able to see what each family has on their wish lists.

Whatever your political beliefs, it’s still very important to keep in mind that underneath their uniforms, our military personnel have the same needs, worries and concerns that we all do. Just like everyone else, they might need a bit of help every once in a while. With the Heroes at Home program, Sears is enabling anyone who’d care to a chance to give their thanks to America’s service members for their work, dedication and sacrifices by helping them and their families make sure they have what they need. This is just another way that we have a chance to put a smile on someone’s face and touch a life in a positive way – good karma.
