Earth’s Best Organic Celebrates their 25th Birthday!
October 13th, 2009
I’ve been so incredibly busy with babyQ’s baptism and then my sister in law’s wedding, but I’ve finally found a few minutes to finish this post!
It’s about as pure and unadulterated that baby food can be: Earth’s Best Organic
A couple of weeks, I was invited to a special luncheon celebrating Earth’s Best Organic’s 25th anniversary (or birthday!). From their beginning in 1985 to now, Earth’s Best has been offering parents a 100% healthy and 100% organic alternative baby food. Earth’s Best has I got the lowdown on their awesomely healthy and delicious baby foods, the scoop on their baby care line, and a sneak peak at what’s in store for consumers who shop and love Earth’s Best’s organic and eco-friendly line of products.
Did you know that Earth’s Best now puts out a full range of baby care products in addition to their line of baby food and formula? That’s right – chlorine free diapers and wipes, and I just have to say from experience that Earth’s Best wipes are better than other eco-friendly chlorine free wipes I’ve tried. They smell much, much better (all natural, of course, no urea-laden “fragrance” here), and they clean babyQ’s butt nice and thoroughly. They even offer Tendercare Tots flushable wipes, good for those who tend to just dump the baby’s “mess” straight into the toilet, but are worried about what that’s doing to the environment and their TOILETS.
Earth’s Best will soon be entering the laundry care arena, as well. In early 2010, they’ll be launching a whole slew of new products, including laundry detergent optimized for high efficiency (hE) washers.
Did you know that Earth’s Best Organic was the pioneer in organic baby formulas? In 2006, Earth’s Best was the first to put DHA and ARA fortified organic baby formula, both milk and soy-based, on store shelves.
Did you know that Earth’s Best Organic is committed to protecting babies from the pain of hunger? Through Feed the Children in the USA and various channels such as the Red Cross for international relief efforts, Earth’s Best and parent company Hain Celestial donate thousands of jars of baby food and other product to make sure hungry children don’t go without the nourishment they need.
This past week, the Philippines and other islands in Southeast Asia and the Pacific have been devastated by Typhoon Ondoy, earthquakes and tsunamis. Earth’s Best ensured all of us at the luncheon that through the Red Cross and other relief organizations, they are supporting the relief efforts and getting their organic baby food and formula to the people affected by the natural disasters in these countries.
littleQ already loves their baby and toddler cookies, specifically the organic “Letter of the Day” cookies! babyQ is starting on the organic whole grain rice cereal for infants, and they’re both using the Earth’s Best organic Lavender 2 in 1 shampoo and body wash for babies! (tear free, of course!)
Right now, Earth’s Best is having a “Most Memorable Feeding Contest" so whip out your Flip Video cameras and camcorders and get a vid of your baby noshing on some Earth’s Best baby food! 25 grand prize winners will become the new faces of Earth’s Best’s Generation Pure, and will win a Earth’s Best prize pack! For each entry submitted, Earth’s Best will even donate one product to support Feed the Children. Entries will be taken at http://feedingcontest.earthsbest.com/ until November 15, 2009. I may just enter my own video, and if I do, I’ll post about it!
Make sure to check out www.EarthsBest.com – we were told they are actively reorganizing and improving their website, and they’ll be including more money saving coupons and FAQs for parents in the next few months!
