Now, if 16 month old babyQ were to say that (it would sound like a whole bunch of baby babble), I’d be like, “Sure, babyQ, hop on into Mama’s arms!” But when littleQ yells it, I can’t help but groan at the thought of carrying all 40-some-odd pounds of preschooler. It. Kills. My. Arms.
Most double strollers are big and bulky. Despite their posted weight limits, they’re usually difficult to maneuver and really are not optimized for use by families with a toddler and a preschooler instead of a toddler and an infant.

Today I really had a strong craving for cupcakes. Betty Crocker in a box cupcakes just wouldn’t do. And so, I convinced the hubby to shuffle along with me to Manhattan’s Upper West Side (about 40 minutes away from us in today’s nasty weather), just to get a piece of the Magnolia Bakery’s claim to fame. I specifically went to the Upper West Side location because I figured that location would be the least likely to have a ridiculous line.
Something that I forgot to mention in the video: the vanilla cupcakes with chocolate frosting are the best! The chocolate frosted cupcake I was eating in the video was yummy, but mm mm mm, the vanilla cupcake was probably the most perfect cupcake I’d ever tasted, moist but not mushy and just sweet enough, except that the frosting almost gave me a toothache it was so sweet.
